Dr. Floyd was born in Gooding, Idaho and raised in Southern Idaho and Oregon. Dr. Floyd attended the University of Idaho and went on to earn his Doctorate in Podiatry at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Floyd began practicing in Lynnwood, WA in 1984 where he has worked at the Alderwood Ankle and Foot Clinic for the past 36 years. In 2002 Dr. Floyd expanded his practice to Lake Stevens, at the Lake Stevens Ankle and Foot Clinic. This enabled his patients that lived in the North end to access their Foot and Ankle care with less commute.

Dr. Floyd is a Board Certified Podiatrist and Foot and Ankle Surgeon and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In 2002 Dr. Floyd completed a post graduate Course in Medical and Surgical Techniques of the Foot, Ankle and Leg at Northledge Regional Medical Center, Tucker, GA. Dr.Floyd is affiliated with the Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA and is on their Surgery Committee.

Dr. Floyd has been involved with Athletics his entire life and also specializes in Sports Injuries. He enjoys treating athletes of all Sport types. Dr. Floyd is also a highly trained Gold Medal Squared Select Volleyball Coach for 12 years. He has treated many premier volleyball athletes around the region. Sandi C. Nagata, D.P.M., A.B.P.M.

Dr. Nagata was born in Kirkland, WA and raised in Issaquah, WA. She attended the University of Southern California (USC) where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Biology. Dr. Nagata achieved her doctorate degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She stayed in the Philadelphia area to complete a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Crozer-Keystone Health System. Dr. Nagata then continued on to do a prestigious orthopedic fellowship at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD in the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics. Here she trained alongside the Orthopedic Fellows in limb deformity correction and served as her class' Chief Fellow. During her time here she also went with a team on an orthopedic medical mission to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at CURE Hospital.

Dr. Nagata has been behind the scenes of athletics for many years after discovering she was better at treating athletes than being one while attempting to play basketball in high school. She continued student athletic training at USC, primarily with football and women's tennis. Her love of sports medicine grew with additional experience while in Philadelphia, helping to provide podiatric care at the collegiate and professional level. Exposure to helping keep athletes on the field or court has translated to her passion for wanting to keep all patients healthy when it comes to taking care of their feet.

Dr. Nagata has been practicing alongside Dr. Floyd at the Alderwood Ankle and Foot Clinic since 2013. Dr. Nagata is a Board Certified with the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dong Yu, MD, DPM

Dr. Yu graduated No.1 in her class from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2019 and completed her residency training at an intensive podiatric foot and ankle medicine and surgery program at Hoboken University Medical Center, where she spent three years training extensively in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma, Sports Medicine, and Diabetic Limb Salvage. Dr. Yu is certified in foot and ankle arthroscopic techniques and has been trained extensively for ankle arthroscopy and lateral ankle stabilization procedures. She served as Chief resident during her last year residency.

Dr. Yu graduated from Peking University (Beijing University) with degree in Medicine in 2008 and has been certified through United State Medical Licensing Examination. Now Dr. Yu shares her personal time with her husband and son striving to maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She spends much of her free time for outdoor activities throughout the Puget Sound area, as well as British Columbia.

Madeline J. Boyle, DPM

Dr. Boyle was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Growing up, she loved staying busy and active and participated in a litany of activities including ballet and pointe dancing, figure skating, cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, and softball.

After graduating high school as Valedictorian, she then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her parents’ alma mater, where she graduated Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. From there, she then achieved her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, New York, where she also happened to meet her husband, Declan.

Dr. Boyle then moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she completed her 3-year residency training at Emory University School of Medicine’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program, where she immersed herself in the intensive and diverse training focusing on forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery.

Throughout her three years as a resident, she also focused on various research projects, two of which receiving awards at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Scientific Conference. During her 3rd and final year at Emory, Dr. Boyle also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Boyle is a member of the Podiatry Institute, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association. She continues her trend of enjoying an active and busy lifestyle by practicing yoga and Pilates, staying outside for walks and adventures alongside her dog, Boh, and exploring and traveling the world with her husband, with a particular soft spot for Ireland.

Head Therapeutic Shoe Coordinator

Gwynne grew up in both Hawaii and London, England, bringing a unique blend of cultures, style, and experience to the Pacific Northwest. She moved to the PNW in 2023 and joined Lake Stevens Ankle & Foot Clinic in July of that year.

After spending two and a half years as our Assistant Therapeutic Shoe Coordinator, Gwynne stepped into the role of Head Shoe Coordinator, where she combines her knowledge of therapeutic footwear with her passion for helping people feel comfortable, confident, and supported.

One of Gwynne’s favorite parts of her work is meeting new people and building lasting relationships with her patients. With a background in fashion and fitness from abroad, she brings a thoughtful eye for both function and style when helping patients find footwear that fits their individual needs.

Gwynne is fluent in English and Tagalog and is currently learning Spanish. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care make her a valued part of the Lake Stevens Ankle & Foot Clinic team.
