Dr. Floyd was born in Gooding, Idaho and raised in Southern Idaho and Oregon. Dr. Floyd attended the University of Idaho and went on to earn his Doctorate in Podiatry at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Floyd began practicing in Lynnwood, WA in 1984 where he has worked at the Alderwood Ankle and Foot Clinic for the past 36 years. In 2002 Dr. Floyd expanded his practice to Lake Stevens, at the Lake Stevens Ankle and Foot Clinic. This enabled his patients that lived in the North end to access their Foot and Ankle care with less commute.
Dr. Floyd is a Board Certified Podiatrist and Foot and Ankle Surgeon and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In 2002 Dr. Floyd completed a post graduate Course in Medical and Surgical Techniques of the Foot, Ankle and Leg at Northledge Regional Medical Center, Tucker, GA. Dr.Floyd is affiliated with the Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA and is on their Surgery Committee.
Dr. Floyd has been involved with Athletics his entire life and also specializes in Sports Injuries. He enjoys treating athletes of all Sport types. Dr. Floyd is also a highly trained Gold Medal Squared Select Volleyball Coach for 12 years. He has treated many premier volleyball athletes around the region. His philosophy is keeping the athlete going and preventing future injuries. Dr. Floyd is also a Private Pilot and enjoys flying, water skiiing and kyaking with his family and his Chocolate labs.

Dr. Nagata was born in Kirkland, WA and raised in Issaquah, WA. She attended the University of Southern California (USC) where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Biology. Dr. Nagata achieved her doctorate degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She stayed in the Philadelphia area to complete a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Crozer-Keystone Health System. Dr. Nagata then continued on to do a prestigious orthopedic fellowship at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD in the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics. Here she trained alongside the Orthopedic Fellows in limb deformity correction and served as her class' Chief Fellow. During her time here she also went with a team on an orthopedic medical mission to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at CURE Hospital.
Dr. Nagata has been behind the scenes of athletics for many years after discovering she was better at treating athletes than being one while attempting to play basketball in high school. She continued student athletic training at USC, primarily with football and women's tennis. Her love of sports medicine grew with additional experience while in Philadelphia, helping to provide podiatric care at the collegiate and professional level. Exposure to helping keep athletes on the field or court has translated to her passion for wanting to keep all patients healthy when it comes to taking care of their feet.
Dr. Nagata has been practicing alongside Dr. Floyd at the Alderwood Ankle and Foot Clinic since 2013. Dr. Nagata is a Board Certified with the American Podiatric Medical Association. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Washington Podiatric Medical Association.Dr.Nagata is affiliated with the Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA and is on their Emergency Medicine Committee. ON her time off she can be found playing outside with her daughter, running, paddle boarding or taking a vacation in Hawaii visiting extended family.

Malia began her journey with the Lake Stevens Ankle and Foot Clinic in 2014 and has evolved her adoration for helping those who are in need of Ankle and Foot care through her own tribulations of Foot and Ankle related Injuries as a High School Athlete. She was born and raised locally in Lake Stevens and graduated from Snohomish High School. Malia has extensive experience in the Medical Field beginning extending from fields of, Maxillofacial Surgery, Medical Laser and Dermatology and Dentistry, with a unique dedication and passion to the Podiatric field of medicine. Dr. Dong Yu, MD, DPM
Dr. Yu graduated No.1 in her class from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2019 and completed her residency training at an intensive podiatric foot and ankle medicine and surgery program at Hoboken University Medical Center, where she spent three years training extensively in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma, Sports Medicine, and Diabetic Limb Salvage. Dr. Yu is certified in foot and ankle arthroscopic techniques and has been trained extensively for ankle arthroscopy and lateral ankle stabilization procedures. She served as Chief resident during her last year residency.
Dr. Yu graduated from Peking University (Beijing University) with degree in Medicine in 2008 and has been certified through United State Medical Licensing Examination. Now Dr. Yu shares her personal time with her husband and son striving to maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She spends much of her free time for outdoor activities throughout the Puget Sound area, as well as British Columbia.
Dr. Yu is fluent in both English and Chinese, she is also learning Korean which is the native language for her husband.
